Installation "He/She, Unity"

I created the installation "He/She, Unity" for the collective exhibition "He<+=>She" at the Municipal Museum in Żory in 2019. It was my artistic response to the question about male-female relations. The forms of the installation resembled the silhouettes of a woman and a man, with the man's long hands, which symbolically served as a link between them. The objects were made of white cotton fabric, filled with soft synthetic fluff and fragments of material. It was an unusual sculpture that could be interacted with - it had a variable character, depending on the spatial arrangement, which the recipients could influence. During the exhibition, the arrangement of the two objects was changed many times in accordance with my intentions.

Although the sculpture had the form of an installation, it also became an element of the exhibition promotion, which can be seen in the attached photographs. Since then, the installation has been presented at the Tichauer Art Gallery in Tychy during the "Sculpture Manufacture 2021" and at the Museum in 2024 at the "Consciousness" exhibition.

"He/She, Unity" is my first conscious spatial form, in which - like in many of my previous paintings - I introduced an element of play and therapy. In the future, I plan to create more such objects, but this time in color.
